Review: Carpe Corpus (The Morganville Vampires #6) by Rachel Caine

Carpe Corpus (The Morganville Vampires, #6)Carpe Corpus by Rachel Caine
Goodreads summary:
In the small college town of Morganville, vampires and humans lived in (relative) peace-until all the rules got rewritten when the evil vampire Bishop arrived, looking for the lost book of vampire secrets. He's kept a death grip on the town ever since. Now an underground resistance is brewing, and in order to contain it, Bishop must go to even greater lengths. He vows to obliterate the town and all its inhabitants-the living and the undead. Claire Danvers and her friends are the only ones who stand in his way. But even if they defeat Bishop, will the vampires ever be content to go back to the old rules, after having such a taste of power?

My thoughts:

I started school after a two weeks break and now it'd take me a little bit more time to read the books but I will read them no matter what.

This book was another great addition to the already awesome series. It wasn't as dynamic as the previous two but it was good for an end of that part of the characters' lives. What Bishop did was done now and everyone would have to live with the consequences of their choices...

It was sad as and ending to something would be.. It was the end for some of the characters and it was really sad to let go of them. I don't know what will happen now because that's how far I went last time and it's all a mystery to me now... I am very excited to see how this continues.

This book was ... I keep repeating the word 'end' because that's how it feels. So many things changed in this book that it's impossible for things to go back to the way they were.

Morganville will change, the people in it already are changed and I have a feeling that whatever comes next will be new to both the readers and the characters in the book...

I definitely enjoyed reading this book even though it had a slower, sadder pace.. It was something different and yet familiar and it was a very very good book...

It's not a 6 stars book like the last few and it's not exactly a 5 but it is a 4.5 so 5 stars it is! It was great and every fan of the series should read it now! I know I loved it!
