Review: Torn (Trylle Trilogy, #2) by Amanda Hocking

Goodreads summary:
When Wendy Everly first discovers the truth about herself—that she’s a changeling switched at birth—she knows her life will never be the same. Now she’s about to learn that there’s more to the story… She shares a closer connection to her Vittra rivals than she ever imagined—and they’ll stop at nothing to lure her to their side. With the threat of war looming, her only hope of saving the Trylle is to master her magical powers—and marry an equally powerful royal. But that means walking away from Finn, her handsome bodyguard who’s strictly off limits…and Loki, a Vittra prince with whom she shares a growing attraction. Torn between her heart and her people, between love and duty, Wendy must decide her fate. If she makes the wrong choice, she could lose everything, and everybody, she’s ever wanted…in both worlds. As a special gift to readers, this book contains a new, never-before-published bonus story, “One Day, Three Ways,” set in the magical world of the Trylle.

Oh I loved this one.
Torn is the second book in the Trylle trilogy and it was an amazing. There were some silly moments, which were too unbelievable and they stood out but even that didn't stop me from reading the book so fast.
I love reading about Wendy. She is still fighting for everything and everyone she loves, but she is doing it while she learns to be someone else completely.
Wendy the out-of-place human is completely different person than Wendy the Princes and the future Queen. She is suppose to fit into this world that is so demanding and incredibly weird.
So after she ran away in book one the second book starts pretty much from where the previous left of. Of course it wasn't long before someone showed up to collect her but nothing went as planned and Wendy found herself locked in a dungeon with Mat and Rhys and this gorgeous guy was holding her hostage.
I enjoyed reading about Loki. For those who had the new releases of the books, they know Loki from the short story included in the book. That's when we met him for the fist time. Now trough Wendy's eyes we got to really see him and get to know him a little better.
He is definitely not like Finn and that and who handsome he was, were the most compelling parts about him. He is easygoing, charming, grins at every single joke he makes... But there's so much more to him. He is someone worth getting to know and maybe under different circumstances Wendy would have though the same thing but now it wasn't the time.
Anyway, I got carried away... After some time the Trylle got their Princess back but everything that happened then was so crazy.. I don't think I would have survived the pressure and imagine what Wendy must've felt like.
The story was amazing. I loved the little fights between Wendy and Finn, the moments with Loki around, I was pissed at some characters and fascinated by others. It was a mix of funny, sad and complicated all at once and it was an incredible book to read.
I can not wait to get my hands on book three so I could see what happens next.
My advice to those who haven't read the trilogy yet is to go look it up and if not buy it then borrow it from someone because it is really great!
