Waiting on Wednesday (14)

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted at Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.

  Nerve by Jeanne Ryan
Expected publication:  September 13th 2012
Dial Books (Penguin)

Synopsis(from Goodreads):
A high-stakes online game of dares turns deadly

When Vee is picked to be a player in NERVE, an anonymous game of dares broadcast live online, she discovers that the game knows her. They tempt her with prizes taken from her ThisIsMe page and team her up with the perfect boy, sizzling-hot Ian. At first it’s exhilarating—Vee and Ian’s fans cheer them on to riskier dares with higher stakes. But the game takes a twisted turn when they’re directed to a secret location with five other players for the Grand Prize round. Suddenly they’re playing all or nothing, with their lives on the line. Just how far will Vee go before she loses NERVE?

Debut author Jeanne Ryan delivers an un-putdownable suspense thriller.

I saw this one a few weeks ago and I found it absolutely fascinating. It sounds so interesting and action packed. I can't wait to get my hands on it.

 Expected publication: September 18th 2012
HarperTeen

Synopsis(from Goodreads):

When Charlotte comes to after being pushed onto the subway tracks, she is informed by a group of teenage girls that she is dead…they all are.
Meet the Dead Girls Detective Agency. With the support of these dynamic girls—including fashionable Lorna, who can’t wait to find out if the devil actually wears Prada, and nerdy Nancy, who insists on staying in limbo to help out other girls—Charlotte follows leads and tracks down clues to solve her own murder. With plenty of juicy mysteries and some pretty cute guys, readers are sure to fall in love with this fun and suspenseful page-turner!

Fans of Meg Cabot, Sara Shepard, and Ally Carter will delight in this exciting new paperback original.

I  saw this one a while back and I requested a copy from Edelweiss and my request was approved so I'm going to be reading this one very soon. I just really am looking forward to it. Sounds interesting and I hope it's good.

Leave me a comment with your WOW and I promise to visit and comment!
Until the next time,
