Waiting on Wednesday (18)

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted at Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.

Expected publication:  November 13th 2012
Dutton Childrens Books

Synopsis(from Goodreads):
Cassia faces the ultimate choices in the long-anticipated conclusion to the "New York Times" bestselling Matched Trilogy
After leaving Society and desperately searching for the Rising--and each other--Cassia and Ky have found what they were looking for, but at the cost of losing each other yet again: Cassia has been assigned to work for the Rising from within Society, while Ky has been stationed outside its borders. But nothing is as predicted, and all too soon the veil lifts and things shift once again.
In this gripping conclusion to the #1 "New York Times" bestselling Matched Trilogy, Cassia will reconcile the difficulties of challenging a life too confining, seeking a freedom she never dreamed possible, and honoring a love she cannot live without.

Oh I just finished Matched and I am really looking forward to reading book two. It's out here so I'll buy it soon and then I would love to get my hands on this one. It's going to be a great book!

House Rules (Chicagoland Vampires #7) by  Chloe Neill
 Expected publication:  February 5th 2013
NAL Penguin

Synopsis(from Goodreads):
In a city full of vampires, trouble never sleeps.

At the tender age of 27, Merit became a sword-wielding vampire. Since then, she’s become the protector of her House, watched Chicago nearly burn to the ground, and seen her Master fall and rise. Now she’ll see her mettle—and her metal —tested like never before.

It started with two . . . Two rogues vanishing without a trace. Someone is targeting Chicago’s vampires, and anyone could be next. With their house in peril, Merit and her Master, the centuries old Ethan Sullivan, must race to stop the disappearances. But as they untangle a web of secret alliances and ancient evils, they realize their foe is more familiar, and more powerful, than they could have ever imagined.

I don't know how I managed to read all six books so fast. They just kept coming and I was unable to stop myself from reading and they were so great and now I can't wait to read this one as well. It's going to be a painful wait but I'm pretty sure it'll be worth it.

      And Chloe Neill broke all our hearts with that ending on book 4. Good think book 5 was out when I started reading the series.
