Synopsis(provided by the author):
Seventeen-year-old Cassie Cee feels invisible because she's a double-digit size. She finds a book in a secondhand bookstore that she hopes will change her life. Her best friend's brother wants to make vlogs about how she is following the ten rules she found in the book, why she is doing it, and how she feels about being invisible for his school project. She agrees, but only if he promises no one but his college advisor will see the vlogs. He promises, but a friend of his posts them online and they go viral. When one of the "famous rules" puts her best friend, Rachel in a dangerous situation, Cassie makes one last vlog and Chuck posts it online. But emails begin arriving from other girls who have felt invisible, and she realizes she has to own up to being "the real Cassie Cee."

Meet the Author

Kathleen has been writing since she was eight years old when she self-published her first book. Okay, she hand-copied her poems onto plain white paper, paper punched three holes in the sides, made an orange and blue “book jacket” and threaded red ribbon through the holes that she tied with a bow. Ta Dah! Her first book! She’s been writing ever since. She writes in different genres but YA is her favorite.

Even at seven in the morning Rachel looked drop dead gorgeous. I sighed adding another teaspoon of sugar to my coffee. Stirring it I jumped when Rachel sat down next to me with a plop.

“Why are we up so early on a Saturday?”

“Chuck wanted to get started on the music video. He got Doc to give him studio time this morning from nine to ten.”

“Can I sing the Celine Dion song from Titanic?”

“No, you aren’t singing anything. I am. You are mouthing the words.”

“Well, can I mouth the words from the song from Titanic?”

“No, we can’t sing anything already out there, it has to be original. Watson will do the arrangement. I guess he plays piano.”

“Who’s writing this gem?”

Rachel asked taking a sip of her coffee. She made a face and added in one of those non-sugar sweeteners. She took another sip and nodded.

“I am.” Or I would be if I could think of anything.

“Make sure you put love in it somewhere, or I’m not singing it.”

“What about love sucks?”

“Love is pain?”

“Stop it,” Rachel said.

“Love is for suckers?”

“I mean it.”

“Wait, I have it. Love sucks so much you are a sucker if you believe in it?” I laughed.

Much to my dismay, her eyes filled with tears. “Is that what you think of me, Cass? That I’m a sucker because I believe in true love?”

“Oh, I’m sorry, Rach. No, of course not. I wish I could believe like you do, but, I can’t.”

“You’ll believe the first time you fall in love,” she said her eyes getting all dreamy.

“Rachel, you’ve known me since we were five years old. Have I ever, at any time, told you I was in love?”

“There you go. Some people aren’t meant to fall in love. I’m one of them. I’m like one of those crazy cat ladies you see on TV. Hundreds of cats all over her house. Wild hair, clothes from resale shops, eating out of dumpsters. That’ll be me.”

“You’re allergic to cats,” she said stealing a piece of toast from Chuck’s plate and taking a bite.

“Well, you get the idea.”

“You’ll change your mind someday soon. I feel it.”She took another bite of the toast. “I’m going to head up to take a shower. I’ll find you something to wear if you want.”

“Naw, I’m going to head home to shower and change. I’ll be back in an hour.”

Nantucket Blue by Leila Howland
Published: May 7th 2013
Disney Hyperion

Synopsis(from Goodreads):
For Cricket Thompson, a summer like this one will change everything. A summer spent on Nantucket with her best friend, Jules Clayton, and the indomitable Clayton family. A summer when she’ll make the almost unattainable Jay Logan hers. A summer to surpass all dreams.

Some of this turns out to be true. Some of it doesn’t.

When Jules and her family suffer a devastating tragedy that forces the girls apart, Jules becomes a stranger whom Cricket wonders whether she ever really knew. And instead of lying on the beach working on her caramel-colored tan, Cricket is making beds and cleaning bathrooms to support herself in paradise for the summer.

But it’s the things Cricket hadn’t counted on--most of all, falling hard for someone who should be completely off-limits--that turn her dreams into an exhilarating, bittersweet reality.

A beautiful future is within her grasp, and Cricket must find the grace to embrace it. If she does, her life could be the perfect shade of Nantucket blue.
Really excited about this one. Even though it's already released, I haven't had the chance to read it yet. If any of you have reviews of it please leave me the link.

Synopsis(from Goodreads):
From acclaimed author Katie McGarry comes an explosive new tale of a good girl with a reckless streak, a street-smart guy with nothing to lose, and a romance forged in the fast lane

The girl with straight As, designer clothes and the perfect life-that's who people expect Rachel Young to be. So the private-school junior keeps secrets from her wealthy parents and overbearing brothers...and she's just added two more to the list. One involves racing strangers down dark country roads in her Mustang GT. The other? Seventeen-year-old Isaiah Walker-a guy she has no business even talking to. But when the foster kid with the tattoos and intense gray eyes comes to her rescue, she can't get him out of her mind.

Isaiah has secrets, too. About where he lives, and how he really feels about Rachel. The last thing he needs is to get tangled up with a rich girl who wants to slum it on the south side for kicks-no matter how angelic she might look.

But when their shared love of street racing puts both their lives in jeopardy, they have six weeks to come up with a way out. Six weeks to discover just how far they'll go to save each other.
I absolutely love the first two books in the series and I'm so excited about this one. I've been waiting for Isaiah's story for so long now. I love the cover too. It's gorgeous!

Obsession by Jennifer L. Armentrout
Published: May 31st 2013
Entangled Publishing, LLC (Covet)

Synopsis(from Goodreads):
He’s arrogant, domineering, and... To. Die. For.

Hunter is a ruthless killer. And the Department of Defense has him firmly in their grasp, which usually doesn’t chafe too badly because he gets to kill bad guys. Most of the time he enjoys his job. That is, until he’s saddled with something he’s never had to do before: protect a human from his mortal enemy.

Serena Cross didn’t believe her best friend when she claimed to have seen the son of a powerful senator turn into something... unnatural. Who would? But then she witnesses her friend’s murder at the hands of what can only be an alien, thrusting her into a world that will kill to protect their secret.

Hunter stirs Serena’s temper and her lust despite their differences. Soon he’s doing the unthinkable—breaking the rules he’s lived by, going against the government to keep Serena safe. But are the aliens and the government the biggest threats to Serena’s life… or is it Hunter?
The book, as you can see, is already released but barely so it's nowhere near my bookshelf. Anyway, I have been drooling over JLA's books but I still haven't had the chance to read any of them so I hope I can start with this one. It sounds amazing and just look at that cover...

Adult Pick:

Expected Publication: August 6th 2013
Synopsis(from Goodreads):
Grave Visions by Kalayna Price is the much-anticipated fourth installment in the kick-ass urban fantasy series about Alex Craft, a grave witch who can communicate with the dead.

If you want to hear voices from the dead in Nekros City, you call Alex Craft. She's a Grave Witch with reasonable rates and extraordinary powers, who specializes in revealing the secrets of the dead. But now she's the one fighting to keep her own secret. She's not human — and her newly discovered heritage is causing havoc for her both in the human realm and in Faerie. But her status as an unaffiliated fae also makes her an ideal candidate to investigate a new street drug that has surfaced in several of the spaces between the human and fae worlds.

This glamour-infused drug causes hallucinations that turn real — at least for a while and often with deadly consequences. Searching for the source of this drug — and its purpose — lands Alex front and center in the conflict brewing in Faerie and she must find answers before she's dragged so deep she loses her freedom.
I haven't read any of the previous books in the series but I really like the sound of this one and I'll look into the series. I hope the books are good.
